Why senator Mamora rejects Buhari’s appointment

*Position demeaning for status, efforts and level politically

Senator Mamora

ABUJA-The news in town that the former speaker of the Lagos state House of assembly and one time Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Olurunnimbe Mamora rejected a job given to him by the President and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces Mohammadu Buhari is no more news, what the news is the reasons for the total rejection of the Job.

Daily watch investigations confirmed that the ex-senator and ex-speaker of Lagos Assembly was said to have rejected the job of Chairman Abuja Investment infrastructure Centre (AIIC) weeks ago because he sees it as not just too demeaning for his status but insultingly insulting when jestapoxed with the Sacrifice he made towards the election of the APC led Government in 2015 Elections.

According to investigations, Mamora who served as Deputy Director  Buhari Campaign Organization in 2015 elections was relegated to the background when the time of appointments and compensations were supposed to be given to all those that put in efforts towards the Success of the Party and this was said to have upset the amiable Senator who served meritoriously as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2003-2011,moreso was the fact that few years ago when he was after several disappointments given the position of Board Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority and notified of same only to b replaced whiten two hours to the announcement by other forces in the Party led by the Kaduna state governor Malam El –Rufai in2016.

Daily Watch findings confirmed that the new appointment of Chairman AIIC which after several years was now given to him was seen and confirmed by him as an insult to his person, position and efforts he put in to the coming of the APC led Government.

It was also confirmed that at the swearing in of the board of the AICC Mamora’s chairmanship position was given to the Daughter of Adekunle AJasin who was the first Civilian governor of Ondo state Madam Ajasin Aniforwoshe.

Attempts by Daily Watch to Speak to the erudite and very articulate Senator(2003-2011)was not feasible as all calls to his line was not going through as at the time of going to press.
