Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), Rt. Hon. Frank Okiye, has stated that efforts would continue to be made to embrace dissenting voices that have not come to terms with the pronouncement of the court recognising his leadership.
“We can no longer accept the arena of defining the Edo State House of Assembly as a place riddled with crisis,” he stated.
He promised to keep advancing peace and olive branch to his colleagues that are yet to come for inauguration.
On insecurity across the country, the speaker called on everyone to play their roles towards addressing the issue.
“We have a lot of roles to play towards securing our nation. These bandits are not strange people. They live in our midst,” the speaker stressed.
