The government of Kaduna State has imposed curfew on two communities.
They are Kwaru and Ungwan Yero in Kaduna North Local Government Area.
The curfew followed an attack on the communities by some suspected gang members.
The curfew is between 7.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m.
It was announced in a statement issued by Samuel Aruwan, spokesman of Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
According to him, the step was taken after a review of the security situation in the communities.
While calling on the people of the areas affected to comply with the order, the government stated that security agencies had been directed to ensure compliance.
