*More ASUU Affiliated universities set to jump into the fry to get their millions largesse.

The reported plot of the Federal government to formally break the solid ranks of the University Lecturers with their intent of curbing the grand unity that normally occur when in negotiation and strike seem to be paying off as two more Universities have formally joined the newly inaugurated Union which is set to break ASUU finally.
The joining of CONUA by two other universities has increased the membership strength of CONUA to about seven from the initial Five Universities that agreed to become member of the newly formed CONUA which information confirmed is been sponsored to the tune of several Millions f Naira to not only break down ASSUU but curb the incessant Unity and purposefulness with which ASSUU hold on to issues .
Daily Watch investigations confirmed that several other Universities are already gearing to line up with the new body as several windfalls is said to be going on with such association with CONUA
It would be recalled that several Weeks back a new University Union known as CONUA(Congress of University Academics) came into life to total help in the final beak up of ASUU
Daily watch investigations then confirmed that the plot which has the clear signature of the Federal government was decided upon following the refusal of ASUU to be cowed into becoming like Nigerian Judiciary and National Assembly which has become an extension of the President who now dictates to both arms of government what to and not to.
Daily watch investigations then confirmed that the formation of the so called CONUA which is Congress of University academics is simply a game for which the Federal government and some mole Vice Chancellors using some government Ministers has spent several Millions to get off ground with the formal declaration Weeks ago by one Niyi Ismaheel as the National Coordinator and listing about five Universities as members namely OAU, Federal University Oye, Ekiti, Edo State University, Ekpoma, Federal University ,Lokoja and Kwara State University Molete .
Daily Watch findings Confirmed that the Federal Government, some VC’s and Ministers are reaching out to Several Universities ASUU members to jettison their association with the known ASUU and move to CONUA for some huge mouth Watering gift but seemed to be having little head way in that regard.
Daily Watch Spoke to the President of ASUU Professor Biodun Ogunyemi on the formation of CONUA by one Niyi Ismalheel who claimed to be the National Coordinator and he laughed and told Yours truly that the So called members of CONUA are mere merchants who are simply confused and quite plainly knows who their sponsors are but would certainly fail.
Daily Watch was also able to reach out to Comrade Wabba and Emma Ugbaja NLC President and General Secretary respectively on the formation of another Organization representing University Lecturers and both confirmed hearing of same but were quick to say that only ASUU is known in Law to be the authentic body for the University Lecturers as the Country’s Law does not in any way recognize any other Union.
Already at a fair count over seven University have registered with CONUA just as Daily Watch has it on good authority that many more are on the flank to move to CONUA following the largesse running into Millions of Naira associated with such movement.
