PLATEAU-The menace of Fulani headsmen in the North Central Areas of the
Country which seem to have eased out several weeks past seem a thing
of only temporary relief if what is happening in the Plateau state
Capital and other Local Government areas in the state is anything to
go by.
Daily Watch shocking investigation in the state days ago seem
to have confirmed a shocking resurgence of the Fulani Headsmen this
time running into thousands all over the state with the common place
of convergence been the state Capital where the headsmen are seen
roaming the Major streets in the Capital with their Cattles unhindered
and cars giving way to then as if they own of the streets.
The scenery which seem laughable taking into consideration the
problem of the Headsmen in the Central Region and the tough talk of
the President Muhammadu Buhari to deal with trouble makers all over the country.
As at the moment of filing this report, thousands of headsmen who are said to be moving around with several riffles tied to the under belly of their cows to roam all over the streets even in a state capital of Plateau.
How the people of the state would react to the new headsmen
audacity would be exposed in the days ahead when the cattle would as
usual move into the farm lands of the indigenes.
