*Governor accused of looting N8.6 billion bailout fund
*Governor in a fix over Dogara’s group growing profile/opposition role.
*May lose 2nd term ticket except he gets back APC structure in the state
BAUCHI- The APC in Bauchi state seems to be in serious Political turmoil which if not urgently checked may result in the PDP taking over the State from the APC in the next Governorship elections come 2019.
Daily Watch investigations in Bauchi confirms that presently the state APC is divided into two parallel factions which do not see eye to eye and which operates in two parallel ways with one now becoming the opposition party to the other.
While a faction is been led by the Executive Governor of the State Alhaji Sabo M.Mohammend the other Faction is headed by the Honorable speaker of the House of Representative Yakubu Dogara and all National assembly members in theca from te state..
While the Dogara Camps holds sway with the Party Structures recognized by the Federal body under its wrap, the state Governor is said to be doing everything humanly possible to reposes the structure and if not possible create a parallel structure to further his 2nd term pursuit like it s presently in Kaduna, Kogi and some other APC state where the governors are in crisis with their National Assembly members.
Daily Watch investigations confirmed that the Crisis between both camps came to a heed recently when the Dogara camp accused the Governor of looting the 8.6 billion Naira Bailout funds given to the state and even went further to pay a visit to the Party’s Secretariat where they lay their accusation before the Party’s Chairman.
The Dogara’s Factions which seem more as an opposition Party to the Government in place seem bent on changing the Governor and bringing a new man in the next Governorship elections a fight they seem to be getting on right if their popularity and control of the APC structures in the state is anything to rely on coupled with the total abysmal performance of the government which has made him lose face totally with the masses in the state.
Attempts to speak with the Gov Media team on the accusations of the APC opposition group in the state over the looting of the 8.6 billion naira bail out fund was not possible as at press time.
