Takeme promises open door policy in PDP

Newly appointed chairman of the People Democratic Party (PDP) for Delta South Senatorial district, Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP) has pledged to run an open door policy by engaging everybody in the executive, PDP council excos and party leaders  to move the party forward.

Takeme said today in PDP secretariat in his inaugural meeting with members of members of his executive as well as the various council PDP chairmen of the eight local Governments that made up the Delta South senatorial district.

According to him, ‘‘ We have done this before in different leadership roles and we did well. So, this is not the first time in running political parties and bring success to the party. I will ensure my doors are open, my phone lines are open 24 hours to all exco members, PDP council chairmen as well as party leaders and supporters.’’

”We as a party, our unity is paramount and hard work which will bring the desired victory in 2023. We will pay a courtesy visit to leaders of the party at both senate, house of representatives to be identified with them and see how the party could be repositioned ahead of a greater task.. You all know that Delta state is a clear PDP state and that will not discourage us from putting our house intact against 2023’’ he said.

While responding on behalf of the other executive members,Secretary of PDP Delta South, Mr. John Okorolotor and Women leader Tripple Chief Mrs  Delta South PDP, Triple Chief Vero Tambowei Emmanuel, Woman Leader Delta South PDP   expressed gratitude to God and the party leadership for appointing another grassroot man to lead the party to greatness.

They said that Chief Julius Takeme is a tested technocrat and generally accepted politician in Delta state  and they believed strongly on his leadership that would lead the party to victory comes 2023.

They however, described Chief Takeme’s appointment as a square peg in a square hole.
