His Royal Majesty (Dr ) Ekiomi Oweiagbe, the paramount traditional ruler of Operemor Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state has conferred a Chieftaincy title to Dr. Sunday Afore as Okodozimor of Operemor Kingdom.
According to His Royal Majesty, Dr. Ekiomi, ”Dr. Afore was conferred with the revered traditional title which was reserved as an inheritance from his late father Chief Afore Kerebor (Okodozimor of Operemor Kingdom)means Okodizimor of Operemo kingdom, means head of the legendary Okodimor family in Operemo kingdom.
following his selfless and humanitarian contributions towards the lives of youths, men and women in Ojobo and other Ijaw communities as a role model to be emulated by others.
”’That this honour to you is an appreciation and also to ginger you to do more for the kingdom as well as Promotion of the Ijaw nation” He said.
While addressing the press shortly after the Chieftaincy rituals by the monarch, Chief Afore expressed gratitude to God and to the traditional ruler in his kingdom for finding him worthy for the great honour.
He promised to do everything to continue to support the kingdom and be committed to his humanitarian services to the less privileged once in the society.
