Stop bush burning, protect govt. facilities, Sakpra urges Deltans

Comrade Tony Sakpra Special Assistant to Governor of Delta State on Special Duties. Comrade Tony Sakpra has called on community leaders and other relevant stakeholders to prevail on their subjects from indiscriminate bush/road burning, especially during protest and vigilante services which is inimical to the growth and development.

Comrade Tony Sakpra the Governor’s Aide who spoke in Asaba the Delta State  Capital  noted that the Okowa regime  has spent billions of naira in fixing over 250 road network commissioned in less than 2 years of his assumption of office not to mention other sectors for the betterment of  the good people of the state adding that instead of expression of apathy towards  government properties in our jurisdiction we should play a protective role to ensure that such facilities are not wantonly destroyed.

The Governor Aide hinted that the communities who are the immediate beneficiaries of these infrastructures provide by the Okowa regime needed to see themselves as partners in progress with the Delta State Government.

According to Comrade Tony Sakpra, once a project is completed and commissioned the protection and the safety  of such a facility becomes very paramount to the host Community of such a project.

He emphasized that if people from the host communities who enjoy the infrastructures are involved in destroying them then that will be interpreted as sabotage and no civilized community he noted will allow that.
Shedding more light on the magnanimity of the Okowa administration Comrade Tony Sakpra observed during the interactive session that the Okowa regime has touched the lives of the youths positively through the SMART Agenda to the admiration of all.
Sakpra the Gov. Aide explained in his speech that he is not surprised that many youth organizations across the three senatorial districts have already endorsed Okowa for second tenure because of his prosperity program packaged in the SMART Agenda that has transformed the youths from dependents to productive youths.

Comrade Tony Sakpra, the SA Special Duties asserted in his statement that the Okowa Gevernment has done so much in delivering the dividends of democracy to Deltans, adding that all the people should do now is to join hands with him to build a greater Delta by voting OKOWA again come 2019 the way they did in the just concluded LGA Elections.
