ABUJA- Some hard facts and reasons why Amnesty International placed Nigeria in the 148 position in the corruption index scale for 20017 seem to be coming out if the reported disappearance of files of notable and highly placed Nigerians are now growing wings out of the EFCC office.
Daily Watch investigations in Abuja confirmed that many high profile thieves and looters whose case files were domiciled with all the necessary evidences In the EFCC have started growing wings on the order from above syndrome seem to be killing the anti graft agency which today is almost dead except for cases of Yahoo boys and those who are opponents of the APC and Mohammadu Buhari.
Daily Watch Sources in the EFCC confirmed that the case files of so many high profile thieves in the Buhari Government has been moved from the office of the Anti graft to the presidency so as to finally nail and end the cases for good.
According to the Sources, one of those whose files was moved just days ago was the former Registrar of the Supreme Court and present Registrar of the National Judicial Council Saleh Garba who was having a 2 billion Naira theft charge running in the court stopped on the orders of the Federal Government and rewarded with the new position of Registrar of the Nation highest Judicial watch dog in the Country ,the NJC coupled with that of the Secretary of a Corruption investigating committee in the Buhari’s administration.
Saleh who has his hands burnt in several loots he indulged in while serving as the Supreme Court Registrar and dropped for his looting of over 2 billion from the coffers of the supreme court and placed on trial after investigations had his case stopped and withdrawn from the court of Law on the orders of the Federal Government and given a higher position as new Registrar of the Nation Highest Judicial Watch Dog the National Judicial Council (NJC) while the EFCC kept lying of dropping the case for addition of more charges.
Daily Watch investigations has it that following stories in the Media (DAILY WATCH) on the looting of 2 billion by the NJC registrar and the dropping of the charges, the Cabal in the Presidency using the office of the Chief of staff days ago ordered the EFCC to handover all files and evidences pertaining to the Saleh Garba looting case and let the case be finally closed just as the case and investigations of the reinstated NHIS boss Yusuf Usman was also ordered dropped by the same powers from the Presidency thereby stopping all cases against the two thieves who are said to be very close to the Cabal that presently seats as defector President of Nigeria.
All attempts by Daily Watch to get the Views and response of the EFCC via its spokesman Uwujaren Wilson on the off loading of files of high profile thieves on the order of the Presidency was not possible despite several text messages to his lines.
