Sadio Mane’s Senegalese team and favorite in the ongoing African Cup of Nations holding in Egupt, has qualified for the final after beating Tunisia by a lone goal.
The match, which ended in a barren draw, took the two teams into extra time.
At 110mins, Sadio Mane’s free kick was parried by the Tunisian goalkeeper into the head of his own man (Bronn) and the ball went into the back of the net.
Senegal later won a penalty in the 116mins but was disallowed by VAR.
All efforts by the Tunisian side to get an equaliser proved abortive till the referee blew the final whistle.
Senegal will will the winner between Nigeria and Algeria semifinal match coming up by 8pm tonight.
