Russia 2018: Club owners go spiritual for Super Eagles at Eid-el Fitr celebrations

The Football club owners Association of Nigeria (Club Owners) have asked Nigerian  Muslim faithfuls  to use the occasion of the Eid-el Fitr celebration to offer special prayers for the success of the Super Eagles at the ongoing 2018 World cup finals in Russia.

Muslims all over the world will today observe the Eid-el Fitr celebration to mark the end of the Ramadan fast.

In a goodwill message to all football stakeholders in Nigeria, Club owners congratulated the Muslim faithfuls for the successful completion of the holy month of the Ramadan fast and enjoined them to pray for the super Eagles of Nigeria.

According to a statement by the Association jointly signed by the chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the Executive secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka, Club owners said it believed strongly in the efficacy of prayers to see the super Eagles to victory.

The Association said it has mobilized some of its members to join other Nigerians in Russia to cheer the Super Eagles to victory as they face Croatia in their opening game in Russia on Saturday.

” As you observe the Eid-el Fitr celebration today,  we seek for your special prayers for the Super Eagles success  in Russia 2018 world cup and from all of us at the Club owners Association, accept our best wishes as you celebrate. Barka da Sallah”.
