WARRI- As the 2019 elections draws near, a group under the auspices of Burutu Young Advocates, BYA today has stated that the people of Burutu Federal Constituency has a better and stronger voice under Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi stressing that he has delivered in his mandate and must be voted again to represent the constituency.
The group made the assertion in a statement signed by Comrade Johnson Ololobou,National Coordinator and made available to Daily Watch, said ‘‘ The federal lawmaker has a clean score card in his legislative outing which he has maintained over the years.’’
The group which claimed to have followed the antecedents of Hon. Pondi’s empowerment programmes and the vibrancy exhibited on the floor of the house at intervals, appealed to him not to be distracted by his detractors.
The group said he should continue to deliver effective and purposeful leadership to his constituents.
“On behalf of the entire leadership and members of Burutu Young Advocates in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, we wish to state that we are very pleased with the leadership displayed by Hon. Pondi over the years as a first timer in the house.
“He promised us purposeful leadership and that is what we are getting. He has severally carried out empowerment programme for the benefit of his constituents.
“We therefore urge him to continue to do more for his people. Posterity will always judge you right, we are with you all the way in 2019 as we call on others to join this noble course “.
