A group, under the aegis of Lower Niger Oxygen LNO has raised scam alarm over sales of slots forms for job seekers in the recently awarded pipelines surveillance contract by the Federal Government to high Chief Oweizide Ekpomupolo aka Tompolo.
The spokesman of LNO identified as Alpa raised the concerns following claims by job seekers that some unscrupulous persons are collecting monies up to the tune of 10,000 naira from unsuspecting job seekers for the surveillance pipelines job.
Alpa speaking to Daily Watch in Warri Delta State said, the fake pipelines surveillance slot forms currently in circulation are in all Ijaw communities, Warri, Ughelli, Sapele ,Bomadi, Yenagoa , Benin and Arogbo area of Ondo State.
He noted that these fraudsters pretend to be working for some big Ex-militant Generals calling on the Niger Delta youths to be wary of such pipelines surveillance slot forms.
Alpa urged the youths to be cautious of those claiming to provide them jobs added that any genuine job provider would not ask for money ,” it is left for you to reciprocate”.
He called on security agents to be on alart and fishout scammers who are trying to sabotage the goodwill of the Federal Government through its award of pipelines surveillance contract to Tompolo.
The LNO spokesman also tasked youths interested in the pipeline surveillance job not to relent to arrest a person who failed to provide slot for them after collecting money from them, since most of these unscrupulous persons are known to them.
