Chief Peres Oloye has been declared winnner of the Burutu South Assembly PDP primary poll which was held on Sunday.
Daily Watch father d that the incumbent member representing Burutu South Constituency, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin lost at the primary just two votes.
PDP Burutu South primary declared result 22th May, 2022
The election was contested by three aspirants , Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, Chief Peres Oloye and Hon. Pudiya Biakpara.
Accotding to the PDP returning officer declared result, ” Chief Oloye won with 10 votes, while the two other aspirants secured 3 votes each”
The total delegates at the election were 16 in number.
Speaking with the media shortly declared winner by the PDP returning officer, Chief Peres Oloye thanked the delegates, leadership of the party in Burutu LGA for his victory. He pledged to work with both the loosers and party leadership to bring development to Buriuru LGA, if PDP emerges at the general election in 2023.
