Kinsmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the November 16 governorshiop election, Senator Duoye Diri have resolved to vote massively for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate Chief David Lyon.
The campaign train of the APC candidate, Chief David Lyon which stormed Kolokuma Okpokuma Local Government Area, visited Kaima, Opokuma, Sabagreia and Odi were received by mammoth crowd of supporters and party faithfuls
While addressing the mammoth crowd at Sabagreia, a son of the soil and the Alternate Campaign Director General of the David Lyon/Degi Eriemienyo campaign organisation, Prof. Sieyefa Brisibe thanked the people for the rousing reception, urging the people to ensure they do the right thing come 16th November, 2019 as their own son, Douye Diri is not deserving of their votes because he has failed them.
Different speakers who spoke at the rally reiterated the position of the Alternate Campaign D.G, stressing that development of the area is better assured with the APC candidate.
At Sabagreia, the APC candidate promised to construct the Sagbagria-Polaku bridge, as well as sand-fill Okoloba to mitigate the perennial flooding problem of the area.
Also speaking at the campaign, the late former governor of Bayelsa state, Chief Diepriye Alamieyeseagha’s son, Ziworien Alamieyeseagha while addressing the crowd at Kaima, informed the gathering of his family’s full support for the APC candidate, chief David Lyon, urging the people of Kaima and the entire Kolokuma Okpokuma to ensure they vote massively for the APC.
Dr. Diongoli Ebikitin Sunday, a former commissioner and a former member of the PDP, who defected with his teeming supporters, said they (PDP), said they are of no value, but they always delivered for the PDP when they were with them, and they would prove their worth to the PDP in the coming governorship election.
The APC candidate, Chief David Lyon while addressing the crowd at Kiama, the headquarter of Kolokuma Okpokuma, said it is a shame that the town is covered with darkness.
Lyon noted that darkness has become synonymous with the PDP, but the narrative would change when he becomes governor, urging the people of Kolokuma Okpokuma to vote the APC come 16th November, 2019.
He said his government when voted into power would bring prosperity to the people of the state, as he is poised to bring rapid development to the state.
