Mr. Pius Labo, Senior Special Assistant on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has congratulated his boss for the resounding victory at the Court of Appeal, Abuja saying the coast is now clear for Deltans to witness unprecedented infrastructural developmental development.
Labo also hailed Senator James Manager , Representing Delta South district for his unique victory , that upturned the judgement of the National Assembly election tribunal Asaba just as he, called on the former governor of Delta State, the All Progressive Congress APC Delta South Senatorial candidate, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to re-trace his steps and come back to PDP.
He stated this at Bomadi, headquarter of Bomadi Council Area while celebrating Okowa’s Appeal Court victory with People’s Democratic Party faithful at his resident expressing joy that Okowa would now settle down to deliver on his mandate
The Okowa’s aide commended the former governor, Uduaghan for congratulating Sen. Manager after losing his Appeal .He urged him to return to the PDP and joined hands with Okowa to build the party he once led.
Labo who is a former PDP chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area noted that,”APC is not Uduaghan’s
rightful home, the PDP is where he started from, Governor Okowa and party leadership will be glad to received him,if he makes that bold step”.
Speaking further, he advised Uduaghan to fined a place in his heart to forgive those “his people” he felt betrayed him stressed that betrayal is concomitant in politics.
Labo while recalling the incidents that snowball that made Uduaghan a Governor of Delta State in 2007,he said,the Ijaws under the acronym of DICA, Delta Ijaw Collective Agenda betrayed their own brother(Sen. Manager)and supported him to become governor.
The governor’s aide averred that, ever since then, Sen. Manager has forgiven his brothers by forging ahead with them.
