The Village Head of Asanting Ibiono, Eteidung (Dr) Ime Ukut Udoka has appealed for the State Government intervention over terrorism and threat to life’s on visitors and indigene across the community.
Eteidung (Dr) Ime Ukut Udoka made this known in his palace while speaking with Media Practitioners in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area.
The Chief said the unfortunate mess has seriously cause fear and panic on people across the community and especially cripple economic activities in the community without compromise.
The Monarch has allege that one Ukeme Albert is the master minder of the problem facing the community with his associates committed their atrocity later absconded from the village.
According to him, despite the activities of terrorism and threat to lives also witness high level of cultism from this monsters parading themselves across the community seriously need attention of the security agent to clap them down and be on top of the matter for peace to restore back to the community again.
The Village Head said acts of terrorism by Ukeme Albert to include terrorizing the Dredging company working in the village and forcing them to pay N250,000 monthly to him which he used to procure arms and ammunition until the village council intervened through security agencies.
He also went to sure where Winners Chapel Church is building Faith Academy School and intimidated workers for contracts and other incentives. And also, “Albert Vandalized the water project that was provided by Winners Chapel Church for the community and also destroyed the Palm Oil Mill built by the community and escaped while advice his people not to take the law into their hands and the abiding citizens believed that government would intervene on the matter as soon as possible.
