The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has appealed for the construction of East-West Road to be completed without any controversy as the Road Project has become Eyesaw and Worrisome to the people of the Region and especially Nigerians.
The National President of Pan Niger Delta Forum, Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga stated this while addressing stakeholders of PANDEF during their retreat in Uyo. The National President said it would be unfortunate if we experience failure over the Road Project not completed, as all their effort would be in vain still affect the people across the region.
According to him, The Pan Niger Delta Forum is the only voice for the people of Niger Delta and would continue to do their best for the benefit of the region to experience development which they would continue to advocate despite uphill task would not relent to achieve their purpose for the region.
One time Senator representing Eket Senatorial District, Senator Ita Umoyo commended PANDEF for their tremendous effort to make sure the Niger Delta Region experience development and also Peace, Unity across the region rather than experiencing crisis which is not a welcome development in the region.
He believes with the great work carry out by PANDEF would continue to assist the people in the region while the retreat would assist them to deliberate more lapses and way forward to the benefit of the region.
The National Deputy Secretary, Rt. Hon. Ken Robinson commended PANDEF for their understanding coming together as a family to achieve the sixteen point agenda of the organization especially restoring peace across the region
