The Kaduna State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) has been meeting its target for safe drinking water in Kaduna state.This is possible courtesy of the Director General of the Agency,Engineer Ahmed Munir’s commitment to ensure the mandate of the agency is achieved. Munir, since the time he came on board, has been reaching to the length and breadth of the state for safest drinking water. Within the period under record,many boreholes have been drilled and put into uses by many communities across the state.These strides are commendable and have come at a right time when millions of people in the state lack good and safest drinking water.
Every time you met the Director General of the Agency, you would find him busy trying to connect people with good water. In the next two years, looking at how he handled many water projects, the state would remember him as someone who came,saw and conquered scarcity of water in Kaduna State. How did him carried these herculean task with tact and precision have continued to marvel many people. For those of us who know Engineer Ahmed Munir, he possess leadership skills and qualities worthy of mentioning. Every tasks he is being entrusted,he carried them with utmost diligent and passion.
If you can recall,in 2019 election, Munir contested the seat of House of Representative Lere Federal Constituency and won with relatively ease. However,due to the legal tussle surrounding the primary election that produced him, the court upturned his victory. Notwithstanding,Engineer Munir remained resolute and worked for the success of APC in kaduna state.It is inview of his sacrifice and contribution for the APC’s success that Governor El-rufai nominated him as DG RUWASSA a position he used to earn trust from his excellency.
For the good people of lere local government,the giant strides recorded by Engineer Munir did not come to them as surprise. Engineer Munir represents dilligency,commitment and ray of hope.These rare qualities distinguish him from other politicians whose stock in trade is poor service delivery.Through his dedication to duties, Engineer Munir has continued to bag award from organisation within and outside the state. These awards of good service delivering have spured him to do more for the good people of kaduna.Thank you Engineer Munir for your giant strides in RUWASSA.
