AMB. Sola Iji advocates for support for Gov. Akeredolu efforts at developing Ondo coastal area.
The former Nigeria ambassador to Togo,his Excellency Olusola Iji has called on the federal government of Nigeria and all concerned authorities in the country to give necessary support to the road project of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu which intend to link Ilaje the riverine area of the state to Lekki in Lagos.
Speaking with newsmen at western house at Broad street Marina Lagos, Ambassador Sola Iji commended the foresight of Aketi for conceiving the project saying it is a clear display of the governor’s determination to improve the economic sources of the state especially the coastal region which have long been neglected.
He said left for Governor Akeredolu, the road project is very important and should be on by now if not for the external funding expected from concerned agencies.
Ambassador Olusola Iji also lauded the proposed sea port by the administration of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN which he said will be a strong caveat for the socioeconomic progressions of Ondo state especially the southern senatorial district of the state.
He declared that all these laudable efforts of the governor should be complemented with legislative input from the national assembly because they are going to be beneficial to the entire nation when operational.
Ambassador Iji promised to use his connections to assist the state government to get all of these and many other developmental projects funded for the realisation of the dream of Mr governor.
