- Okowa commissions multiple projects in Delta

WARRI-Traditional ruler of Warri Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Ikenwole 1, today has commended the Delta State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for projects delivery across the state.
The monarch who was represented by Chief Johnson Atseghunleghe, the Iyasere of Warri kingdom in Obitugbo community, said during the state governor’s visit to his domain. ‘’ I want to commend His Excellency, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for his projects development stride across Delta state. We are happy and satisfied with the level of projects embarked upon in our area. This kind gesture gives hope to the people in the state’’
The Chairman of Obitugbo community Justice Akunoma and the immediate past chairman Mr. Lawrence Ukubenje in their separate speech also eulogized the state governor for his human and infrastructural development to the people in Warri North and Warri South local Government area in the state.
The community Chairman of Obitugbo noted that past administrations have not been fair with the Obitugbo community until Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa came and constructed a road linking to their community. He said the entire community is happy for the Okowa administration for embarking on road, electricity projects to their community. He appealed to the governor never to be relented in his good work for communities in Delta state.
Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa pledged his administration commitment to embark on capital project development in the state. He appealed for the support of traditional rulers, women and yoiths group to create the enabling environment for his administration to continue to embark on more projects.
He commended the immediate past governor of the state Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for paying priority on education for establishing thirteen model schools across the state. He said the Alema model school at Abigborodo was executed by Uduaghan’s administration. But noted his administration puts finishing touches for the Alema model school.
In his brief speech, the immediate past governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan thanked Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for completing projects executed during his administration. He said he pays so much attention on education because education is the bedrock of development.
Uduaghan promised to hire a private coach to the school lawn tennis court to teach the student to encourage young talents in the area.
The Delta State governor commissioned the Awaritse industrial park in Obitugbo community, the Korobe road in Koko, the Iwere college and Kpennosen roads also in Koko.
Okowa also commissioned the Alema model college in Abigborodo, commissioned the rehabilitated NPA 1.2 killometre road in Warri and Chief Frank Omare crescent at Okumagba layout, Warri, Delta State.
