Member of Delta state House of Assembly, representing the good people of Burutu constituency 11, Chief (Hon) Peres Oloye has celebrated immediate past executive governor of Delta state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on his 64th birthday anniversary.


He however, described Senator Ifeanyi Okowa a man of peace, astute politician and detribalized political leader.


Oloye in a birthday message endorsed by his legislative aide on media/publicity, Mr. Cletus Opukeme, noted that”’ Former governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa is a detribalized leader who brought his  wealth of experience into governance  during his  two times reign as governor in Delta state. Excellency Senator Ifeanyi Okowa a happy birthday as he  grows older in good health, long life and prosperity” He said


Oloye added that Delta state experienced peace and tranquility as Senator Ifeanyi Okowa handled communal crises with deep experience in  crisis management for two consecutive tenures. Noting that peace is the most paramount asset needed in a society which brings about rapid development.


He said Deltans would miss Senator Ifeanyi Okowa  much as he brought great developmental strides in human capital development, infrastructure, peace and security across the 25 local government areas in the state.


Hon. Oloye said Delta state and PDP family need the wise counselling and  contributions of the  immediate past governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa to move the party and the state forward.


He reiterated that Senator Okowa is a great political collosus and prayed for him to always grow in wisdom, knowledge and good health as he celebrates his 64th birthday to promote peace in Delta state, south south and  Nigeria at large.
