Sen.( Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa
ASABA-As the Delta State Governor, Sen.( Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa marks 3-years in office come May 29, some of his principal aides have scored his administration over 90 percent on fulfillment of his electoral promises with his S.M.A.R.T, YAGEP and STEP programmes of infrastructural development, youth empowerment/Skills Acquisition training and agricultural revolution.
Speaking to newsmen in Warri, the Senior Special Adviser on Politics, Hon. Omimi Esquire and Special Adviser on Youth Development, Hon. Hope George said the Governor has scored over 90 percent performance rating on all fronts noting that over 900 roads has been constructed and rehabilitated in all the nooks and crannies of the state including the riverine communities thus inter-linking them for socio-economic prosperity.
Both Special advisers disclosed that in the short term of just 3-years Governor Okowa has been able to positively impact on the lives of all Deltans irrespective of age just as he has built three Technical schools and renovated several others in the twenty-five local government council areas in the state.
According to Hon. Omimi and George, “Governor Okowas has created employment to the teaming youths through his S.M.A.R.T agenda that has taken the state to greater heights disclosing further that job would soon commence on the uncompleted Ubeji road”.
Hon. George who is also the Director-General of Vote Okowa Again (VOA) Campaign organisation therefore charged Deltans to go get their PVC to enable them vote to return Okowa to Government House come 2019 just as Hon. Omimi Esquire maintained that the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta State is too factionalised to give the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, any serious challenge come 2019, saying that the APC is completed dead in Delta and nobody should waste their precious time casting their vote for them.
