OWERRI- Like a confused and drowning man the Imo state government seem to be fighting from all cylinders to save himself and his Son- in- Law Nwosu from the oncoming disgrace which Nwosu’s ambition is bringing to therefore.
Daily watch findings in Imo state confirmed that the Imo State big Masquerade Rochas Okorocha seem to be totally confused just when he thought he had all sealed up as per his Son in Law governorship bid after dishing out several millions as gifts, lobby and tradeoff sums to several Imolites to buy into his dream plots but his effort seem to be collapsing like a park of cards in his face in spite of spending so much.
Daily Watch findings confirmed that rather than getting solved, the Governor Problem seem to be getting more terrible more so with his Deputy Eze Madumere now turning to become the arrow head of the anti Okorocha’s group flocking with elders and all stakeholders in Imo that are against the Okorocha’s ploy to deplore his Son In law to take over the strings of Governance in the State.
The Imo state Deputy Governor who before now was an ardent loyalist of Okorocha until Okorocha announced his Son in Law, the Chief of staff to the Governor as his adopted candidate for the APC governorship race thereby creating rife between him and the Deputy who seem to be mustering the whole Imo state against Okorocha and a very magnificent speed.
Presently all sacked appointees of Okorocha in the Past one year are massed up behind Eze Madumere who has escaped death thrice since his break up of affinity with the executive Governor of Imo State and now Operates as Deputy governor from his village home after fire gutted one of the Official Guest Houses mysteriously in an attempt to eliminate him.
The Imo State Governor since the Imo Ward congress where the Deputy took the shine off him felt he had to do something urgent to cut the Deputy to size and just last week pushed for the impeachment of the State Deputy Governor with a secret Collection of Signatures from the House of Assembly which again seem to have hit a brick wall until days ago when the signature collection was laced with 20 million Naira par signature and this seem to be creating some Magic among the Imo State House of Assembly members who are presently said to be falling on top of one another to drop their signature so as to part take in the 20 million Naira Bazaar from the State Governor.
How fast and well the Collection of Signature will go would be known in the days ahead as many Imolites too are said to be threatening to vote out any Assembly member that collects or signs for the Impeachment of the Deputy governor thereby creating a new panic in the signature gathering momentum with some who had collected begging to refund and cancel their signature.
Attempts to speak with the Imo State governor were not possible as he and his Media Team has made Abuja and the Presidential Villa with the Vice President his humble abode now.
Spokesman for the Imo State Deputy Governor who is also the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor Confirm the story of a monetary induced impeachment ploy with several Millions changing hands but was quick to add that it would fail since the whole Imo state are standing behind his boss, the Deputy Governor Eze Madumare to lead the APC come 2019 in Imo State.
