WARRI-The people of Okerenkoko Community, in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government area of Delta State today expressed joy as ROADWELL Contracting Limited, a firm handling the Community’s road project has intensified efforts to complete the project in February 2018.
Some of the residents in the community who spoke to our Correspondent, said they are very happy that ROADWELL Contracting Limited has returned to site promising to complete the projects.
A leader in the community, Mr. Kelly noted that the Okerenkoko road project is very important to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro who is incidentally from Okerenkoko community adding that it is a legacy project for Okowa for the people of Okerenkoko community.
“ROADWELL Contracting Limited had earlier demobilized from site because of the raining season, but the company has returned to site with every seriousness, determination and readiness to complete the project by February, 2018. But, most importantly, we are very grateful to ROADWELL Contracting Limited for executing a very good standard job. From what the company has done so far, one can say the company is already doing good job that will last”.
Efforts to speak to the Managing Director of ROADWELL Contracting Limited was unsuccessful but an official of the company said “ROADWELL Contracting Limited, apart from being the contractor, it is a joy for us that we are doing a good job in Okerenkoko despite the swampy nature of the environment we are determined for the best work is ongoing and in few weeks it will be completed”.
