The National Body of ODORO IKONO development Association (OIDA) has inaugurate the board of trustees and Executive committee to tackle problem through their selfless service and patriotic outpouring love towards their hard work for the community to experience development.
The National president, ELDER VICTOR USAH who spoke with media practitioners during the inauguration in INI Local Government Area. Said the ODORO Ikono development association has existed as early as the days before the Nigerian-Biafra war, the Association as a socio-cultural non-profit body with the sole aim of uplifting the living standard of our people socially , mentally and infrastructural.
He commended the founder father for their fucous and vision through the Association to establish secondary schools toward their selfless service being patriotic to the community.
According to him, the newly inaugurated board of trustees would not disappoint them despite the up hill task would also make sure contribute their quota for the developmental of the entire community.
He appeal to his people to sink there difference and identify with this body so that they can build a bright and prosperous future for our upcoming generation.
The occasion chairman Elder VICTOR OKON advise the newly Executive to be focus and emulate the founding fathers vision while believe that without love and unity know body can move forwards. despite that they should share knowledge among each other to develop our community. He thanked the founder father for their selfless and untiring Sacrifices that God would surly blessed and reward them over their vision for us to emulate them for the benefit of our people.
The secretary, Dr, Nnyanga Akpan said the new crops of individuals are people with integrity who have focus, vision, passion and scarified for the community development not minding the up hill task ahead to succeed. While encourage them not to relent but continue the good marvelous work of their founding fathers bring back the lost glory.
Earlier, the chairman board of trustee, most Rev EMMANUEL OKON UDOFIA JP said they are embodiment to serve diligently for the community progress and ensure them to always have confident on them without witnessing any failure while advise the people to always exhibit love, progress seen every individual as one family and understand they would achieve their purpose
