WARRI-The president, Owan Arulegbe Club of Nigeria, Chief Henry Obuhoro, has lauded the unity and peace existing among the members since thirty-three years of its existence.
Obuhuro whose commendation came during a special forum organized to fraternize with various members and their families in Warri, Delta State.
According to him, the club since its foundation has made giant stride in all its ramification, especially in assisting members to achieve their purpose, insisting that the oneness existing in the clubs will not die.
“I have no doubt that further achievements will be enhanced now and in the nearest future. In this wise, I want to plead with the members to be fully ready for the task ahead”, said Chief Obuhoro who has just took over the mantle of leadership of the club.
He, however commended the founding fathers and the immediate past executives for attaining lofty heights, targeted towards the growth and development of both Owan East and West of Edo State.
Elated Club President on the occasion presented precious gifts to appreciate the hard work of some members and past presidents.
Earlier, a foundation member Engr. Emmanuel Akhihiero lauded the zeal of members whose effort he said have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the club.
“I can attest to the fact that between 1984 in which the club was founded till date, we have been able to meander through the rough and hard times occasioned by the down turn of the economy” said Akhiliero and enjoined members to always strive for the best.
