ABA- Like a man having faith with destiny, the leader of the
Independent State Of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu seem to be having
the total support and protection of the most high God or how does one
explain his serial escape from three assassination bid by those
suspected to be men of the Nigeria military who as at the time of this
report are still laying siege on the home of the leader of the IPOB in
Aba.
Daily Watch investigations in the City of Aba hours ago confirmed
that the IPOB leader home which was attacked days ago by men of the
Nigerian Army under the name of Operation Python Dance 11 are still
laying total siege at the vicinity and home of the leader of the IPOB
with three Military Helicopters hovering over his residence
Investigations by Daily Watch confirmed a deliberate attempt by men of
the Nigeria Army to provoke the men of the IPOB to attack them so as
to have an excuse to launch a full scale attack on the IPOB Leader and innocent citizens.
The attempt on the life of Nnamdi Kanu by men of the Nigerian
Military was said to have occurred three times within three days and
it is still a miracle how the Leader of IPOB survived the three
attacks if not by Devine interventions.
According to the leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu who spoke to Daily Watch
confirming the attack “The Zoo army shamelessly attacked my convoy
with the use of Snipers and heavily armed men in Nigeria military
uniform at the popular Ubalaka junction but failed in their mission
with only bullets holes in my cars”
He also said that after the failure of the first attack the Military
rather than relent seemed to have gotten angry over his surviving
their first attack and as such launched a second attack which also
gallantly failed.
According to him ‘’The second attempt by the Soldiers of the Jihadist
was launched with less than twenty well trained military Snipers
taking position late night of tenth of September in which they
carried out a coordinated monitoring with night visual weapons to take
out my life but for the quick information from the Biafra Secret
Service who not only intimate me to lie low but came out that night
to chase them all out of my home’.’ Continuing the IPOB leader said
that ‘’On the 12th Sept the Jihadist soldiers for the third time
attempted their plots and again failed, this time the Hausa/Fulani
Soldiers surrounded my house with direct instructions to take away my
life on instruction from the cabal in Aso Rock Villa’’
In his words ‘’The Nigerian Soldiers drafted to Biafra Land under
the guise of Operation Python Dance 11 to assassinate me and other
leaders of IPOB were mainly from the core Northern states of Sokoto,
Zamfara, Kano, Kaduna and Katsina states’’.
As at the time of Daily Watch filing of this story over three
military aircrafts were still seen hovering over the residence of the
Leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
While many are saying it is a well-crafted plot since section215
(2) permits only the police action to deal on issues of
disorderliness and internal security of people and place which can be
applicable to the Biafra episode if there was any protest at all,
since military deployment the way it is done now is only
constitutionally allowed based on section 217(2)of the Nigerian
constitution which permits military engagements only on issues of
armed insurrections, war etc as applicable in the North East and
North Central were the headsmen hold sway.
As at the last count over four Journalists have had their
devices, phones, cameras and recorders vandalized or seized by the
Military while the office of the Nigerian Union of journalists in in Abba was under severe attack for reporting the assassination attempt and takeover of the home of Nnamdi Kanu.
