Nigerian journalists now endangered species, as cabal, DSS, Police plot massive arrest, persecution

This doesn’t seem to be this of time of the press in Nigeria as a methodological and dealt attempts are been mapped out to formally and finally deal with men of the pen in Nigeria.

Daily watch investigations in Abuja confirmed that a recent meet of top Cabal members, select DSS officers and top Police officers reached a serious conclusion that the Press should and must be caged and dealt with as they have become a thorn in the flesh of the executive arm of government most especially the actions, deeds and inaction of members of the Cabal under the Buhari administration.

Daily watch investigations confirmed that already over four Journalist are been punished and dealt serious with over reports concerning the government and activities of the same government just as one is been held by the Nigerian Police over exposed of  corruption activities by the Cross River State.

Daily Watch Sources in the Villa confirmed that as much as twenty other Journalist are penciled down for funny treatment as some DSS officers have been detailed to trace their home address and give them the same midnight and mad treatment given o the Publisher of Sahara Reporters.

Already a journalist Fisayo Soyombo who exposed the shocking bribery and other issues that cuts across the Police, Prisons and Courts of law in a three series  undercover expose   is already under a massive manhunt  by the Police, the DSS and men of the Nigerian Prison  with the Journalist already going underground over tales of imminent arrest or elimination.

Also presently facing brutality in the hands of the government are Abiri Jones who has been in detention over a phony cybercrimes act, anti-sabotage act and terrorism  prevention act for crimes  for  which he was freed then and re arrested by the DSS nine Months ago.

Another journalist Agba Jalingo publisher of a Newspaper, Cross River Watch is currently in jail facing allegations of treason after he published a story on alleged diversion of 500 million by the Cross River state government.

Daily watch Investigations confirmed that soon and very soon several other Journalist are going to face similar treatment in the new plot to cadged and formally deal with the Nigerian Fourth Estate for doing their duty.

Daily Watch attempts to get the DSS Spokesperson   Peter Affunaya over the reported meeting with the powers that be to go after some sets of Journalist over their serial expose on the activities of government in Nigeria was not possible as the DSS Spokes person didn’t pick his calls.
