NAPPS boss harps on proper school management for standard education

The  National  Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) has encouraged school proprietors to engage in proper management, engagement of both staff and students to achieve a standard and completive education in the country.

NAPPS President Dr. Ochuko Akpeme disclosed in a seminar  organized for Delta Central and Delta South, tagged: A Paradigm shift in the Education sector at the great Uvwie hall on Thursday 27th September, 2018.

The President of the Delta State Chapter of NAPPS who chaired the occasion Dr. Ochuko Akpeme, while declaring the event open noted that theme of the 2018 edition of the annual seminar titled “A Paradigm shift” was deliberately chosen to deal with the realities of the societal educational challenges in contemporary time.


Dr. Akpeme, the Delta NAPPS boss harped on the need for participants to take advantage on what they will learn in the seminar in the management of their schools and other engagement of management and investment in future.

Dr. Akpema who is the MD/CEO of Classical Group of Schools thanked the organizing committee for the choice topics and for their credible performance. While commenting on the resource person he described as professionals who have proven their mettle in their chosen professions who have come to add value to NAPPS members. He emphasized that the Delta State Chapter of NAPPS will fly like and eagle with knowledge gained from the seminar to move on to higher level in their pursuit of excellence in their service to humanity in general and the education sector in particular.

Mr. Adikoro Maseph, a chattered account from Amiadiks Resources, Lekki Lagos treated Financial Intelligence in Nigeria contemporary economy, Mr. Raphael Dibie a chartered Tax consultant from ASCAMA Tax Advocacy and consultancy spoke on tax, Mr. Diodemise Irhuemu Emmanuel Spoke on unionism Joseph Okosun handled crime prevention and environmental preservation in school management, while Zino and Great Ukhurebor explained on the  importance of online website and result checking devices that would make education management and learning easier and pleasurable.

The Deputy President NAPPS Delta State Chapter Dr. Mercy Ogbe who also spoke in her speech eulogized the resource persons and the organizing committee chairman Mrs. Rose Obi of City Chief Ekpan and the Secretary  Dcn Ifoghere Monday of Patmon Schools and Chairman NAPPS Ethiope East for their commitment towards the success of the seminar. She emphasized that the topic were indeed relevant and well researched with a robust discussions which added depth to the resource materials.

Dcn. Ifoghere Monday who moderated the event asserted that NAPPS has come of age to fight her fight and conquer new grounds with the knowledge gathered from the seminar.

Mrs. Rose Obi Chairman organizing committee in her closing remark, thanked God for the successful event and stressed on the need for all participants to make good use of the experience gained from the seminar. She hinted that teacher’s day will be coming up on 5th October 2018 at the state capital Asaba which will provide another opportunity for teachers to show case themselves and motivate parent to repose more confidence in their ability to transform their children academically.
