Man City, slumped to a shocking defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad stadium today.
The current EPL champion were nailed by two late goals from Adama Traore.
Pep Guardiola’s men dominated the entire play from the first half but were unable to find the back of the net, despite many attempts at goal.
Luck was only on Wolves’ side at the 80th minute when Adama Traore got the first goal for the away team with Raul Jimenez making the assist
Man City players kept up the pressure on Wolves, seeking to grab a point at least.
However, the combination of Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore again doubled the lead for Wolves before Referee Craig Lawson blew the final whistle.
With this loss, Liverpool are now 8points clear of City on the league table.
The reds have maintained their perfect start this season, winning all their 8 EPL games.
