   LGA Elections: Isoko South APC organizes flag off, gives mandate to standard bearers

The APC chairmanship candidate, Deaconess Hopelyn Ayu and her councilors have on Saturday received the party’s official flag as candidates with a mandate to represent the party at the March 6th 2021 Isoko South Local Government election.
The presentation of the flag was done at the party secretariat, along Emore road, Oleh amidst crowd of party leaders, candidates and supporters.
Barr. John Urete Isoko South APC Party Chairman, while presenting the APC flag to Deaconess Hopelyn, as the party Chairmanship candidate for Isoko South in the March 6th LGA elections, charged her and her councillorship candidates to go and conquer.
Speaking earlier, Prophet Jones Erue, the State party Chairman vouched to support the candidates, noted that the needful must be done by the candidates, embarking on rigorous campaigns in their various wards and to work in synergy with the chairmanship candidate to ensure victory.
In his advice, Hon. Okperi charged the candidates that they are on a mission to deliver on the party’s virtues at the polls and after victory , that the broom being the symbol of the party signifies cleanliness as well as to sanitize the society.
While he assured of full support to the candidates, he noted that the rumour of names of persons that have been written by Okowa to fill the councils leadership must be jettisoned, that there are two visible parties in the state – the APC and PDP which must stand for the elections.
Speaking after receiving the flag on behalf of the councillorship candidates, the chairmanship candidate, Deaconess Hopelyn,  assured of her readiness for victory resting on the promises of support by the leaders.
She noted that “I am not going to Chicken out, I am going to Conquer  and very sure of taking the number one seat of Isoko South”.
She also urged her counterpart at Isoko North, Hon Cornelius Ugo to equally go and deliver the number one seat of Isoko North to APC.
Amongst the councillorship candidates that received flags were Engineer Igheghe Austine representing Uzere Ward 06; Umukoro Wisdom representing Oleh Ward 06; Hon Ajiri Egware representing Irri Ward 07; Comrade Odhowo Emmanuel representing Irri Ward 10.
Others are Hon Godswill Omoghagha representing Oleh Ward 01, Hon Genesis Amaza representing Olomoro Ward 10, Umukoro Innocent representing Okpolo-Ehnwe Ward 07 and Hon Henry Udumubrai representing Uzere Ward 05, amongst others.
Present at the flag off ceremony were party executive members and leaders including Prophet Jones Erue, Barr. D. E. Emebuno, Barr. J. E. Urete, Hon. Emmanuel Adoluaji, Barr. Emonena,  Chief Lucky Esigie, Hon. Lucky Okperi,  amongst others.,
