IPF inauguration: Amgbaduba promises to grace occasion

Former Delta State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba, has pledged  to grace the maiden inauguration of the Ijaw Publishers Forum, IPF, slated  February 29, 2024 in Warri, Delta State.

The former commissioner made this known when members of the Forum, led by its President Austin Ozobo, paid him an official visit at his residence in Udu area of the state on Sunday.

President Ozobo during a brief interaction informed Prince Amgbaduba on the vision of the IPF which include among others the need to unite Ijaw publishers towards the promotion of the Ijaw Nation as well as promoting Ijaw media practitioners.

The IPF President also presented letters of invitation and appeal for support to the ex-commissioner.

In his response, Prince Amgbaduba thanked his guests for the visit and promised to be in attendance at the inauguration barring any last minute changes in his schedule.

He also encouraged the body of Ijaw publishers  not to relent in their collective pursuit for the actualization of the Forum’s vision.

Among other members of the Forum in attendance include Prince Perez Klint of Iduwini Voice, Ekpegha Preye of South South Daily, and Abai Francis of PENGlobal.
