The International Federation of Business and Professional Women (IFBPW) would continue to advocate for Women to invade the business world especially the small and medium scale enterprise that is pulling weight across the Globe.
The National President of The International Federation of Business and Professional Women(IFBPW) Mrs. Yinka Ajibola who spoke with Journalist shortly after the inauguration of Uyo Chapter in Uyo.
The National President said despite challenges they would not give up over their responsibilities as they extend hand of Fellowship in giving loan to their members to grow their business empire, understanding women are the engine room of the family after training them to become virtues women for the benefit of their family and the nation at large.
She used the opportunity to advice the newly inaugurated Chapter to work hard and ignore the challenges or task ahead of them believing that they would surely succeed when they come together as a family in the Chapter and understand the National is solidly behind them.
The newly Inaugurated President of Uyo Chapter, Barr. (Mrs) Mary Ewa commended the national president for her motherly advice to members “ it is said that women are the bedrock of the Society and this could be translated as women being the pillars of our Community” while in the rural areas, Women play vital roles from farming to market, sales to midwifery and most importantly managing the affairs of the family which is the nucleus of our society.
The President said Her Administration would experience open door policy and would not fail the National as the Chapter would experience greater height while the welfare of our members is of utmost importance and will maintain exceptional and unique practice in this area. The bond that holes us together will be effectively exploited to celebrate key achievements and provide assistance to those in need.
A Business Guru, Mrs. Ekaette Inyang Inyang said the newly inaugurated Uyo chapter President is a Virtues Woman with good Character Understanding what it takes to lead women to succeed in their business empire and believe with her the Chapter would go higher places.
