That Reggae kingpin and Legend Ras Kimono is dead and buried is no more news not even the fact that the highly lively and boisterous wife of the legend death three months after her husband any news to many Nigerians, the real news is the issues, acts and inactions that led to the death of the lovely and adorable lady on Sunday.
Daily Watch findings confirmed that the boisterous and beautiful Efemena Okedi may not have died that Sunday when she gave up the ghost if the several hospitals were she was initially rushed to had done their jobs as expected of an Hospital.
According to one of the Sons of the beautiful Efemena spoken to by Daily Watch, the death of his mother is not as painful as the role played by the several hospitals to which the lady of substance was rushed to when she developed the initial complications and pains.
Daily Watch findings confirmed that when the lady developed some complications that day of the incident she was rushed after first aid to one Blue Cross Hospital, Ogba but shockingly after some minutes of wait were told that the hospital in an uncaring countenance told these that took her there that they can’t handle the situation and the lady was immediately rushed to County Hospital where after some minutes of wait a Doctor checked her and confirmed shockingly that they have no facility to handle her case and recommended her transfer to Lasuth to which the team again rushed the highly ill lady in need of Medical attention to at about 4am and waited a whooping 40 minutes for medical attention which was not coming before she gave up the ghost.
According to findings, none of the three hospitals care as much as treat the case as any kind of emergency for the over three hours they were rushing from one clinic to another looking for solutions as not even a stretcher was drooped by any of the three hospitals visited by those who carried the lady Efemina Okedi.
Daily watch Spoke to the Son of the Late Efemina Okedi, the Step Son of Late Ras Kimono Onome Akpobome who in tears confirmed the story and lamented deeply that the mother may have been alive if the three hospitals she was rushed to had done the needful as at when she was rushed there lamented the behaviors of several medical centers and so called Hospitals for their careless attitude and uncaring manner towards patients brought to their Hospitals as according to him.
’’My mother may have lived if from the two am she complained of chest pained when we rushed her out till the 4am when she finally gave up the ghost she was adequately cared for by any of the three hospitals immediately we got there”. Daily Watch wished the family, particularly Onome our profound sympathy and pray that God almighty give the family the fortitude to bear the painful demise of the beauty.
