WARRI- A senior media practitioner and House of representative hopeful in 2019 under People Democratic Party (PDP) , Comrade Akpokona Omafuaire has urged President Buhari Muhammadu to voluntarily resign for gross incompetence, inefficiency and poor performance to move Nigeria forward.
He said President Buhari has exhibited complete incompetence on almost every area, especially on security in his administration which has led to the mass killings in parts of Nigeria by Fulani herdsmen as well as harrowing economy that brings pains and agony to the common man in the street.
The house of representative hopeful who is from Ughelli and Udu Federal Constituency
made this disclosure in a press statement to Daily Watch, said ‘‘With the daily killing of Nigerians by suspected Fulani herdsmen and seemingly no solution, President Muhammad Buhari should resign as he is incompetent.
‘‘Buhari swore to the Nigerian constitution which prescribed one of the key function of the President as security of lives and property. With the daily killings it is obvious he has failed in his primary duty.
‘‘Since his emergency, Buhari has shown enough course for every reasonable Nigerian to believe that his intent was to foster an ethnic agenda of whipping out other ethnic groups.
The questionable manner he withdrew monies without recourse to the National Assembly and the use of state security apparatus to hound opposition is a great threat to our democracy.
The President is enmeshed in his second term agenda bid and does not care what happens to the people he is leading, so it is time for him to resign and go home.’’ He said
