Herdsmen resurface in Benue months after Kaduna meeting to stop killing

The menace and issue of herdsmen  genocidal attack which was assuming an image of its own before the meeting in Kaduna by several associations of herdsmen to stop all forms of attack until after elections seemed to have resurfaced again in  Benue state as some lives were lost just days ago.

Daily Watch Sources confirmed that the herdsmen who came n their numbers fully armed as usual to teeth stormed the Village of  Taavan in Mbadwen, in Guma Local Government Area of Benue state doing what they know best as in killing, raping and looting with residents  of the community and other surrounding communities fleeing into the bushes.

Some survivor spoken to confirmed that their attackers were speaking Fulfulde while attacking and they vowed to launch more  ferocious attacks on the state in the coming days.

Daily Watch Sources also confirmed that several people lost their lives with exact figure not to clear for now but also involving the death of   one  Clement Kulugh  brother to  one of the aide of the Benue state governor  Samuel Ortom  James Igbudu who spoke to Daily Watch and not only confirmed the attack on his Community Mbadawem and the killing of his brother.

Daily Watch also reach out to the Benue state Police through the state Public Relation Officer Moses Yamu who told Daily Watch that his office is unaware as they have not been briefed.
