Like a re-occurring decimal the elusive gun men that have turned Zamfara to a killing field has again re- enacted their wicked act as they in the early hours of June First stormed and killed another 15 in one strike.
Daily Watch correspondent in Zamfara confirmed that the gun men who were armed with highly sophisticated weapons and assorted ammunitions stormed the village of Zakuro in Anko Local government Area of Zamfara State in a commando style killing 15 people on the attack.
Daily Watch findings confirmed that the Gun men who were initially chased away by some vigilante later regrouped and launched back which led to the death of the 15 people.
Daily Watch spoke to the Zamfara State Police Public Relation Officer DSP Mohammed Shehu who confirmed the attack and killings in Zakuro Village less than one Week after some Gun men kill over 26 people in the same locality in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Also confirming the attack was the state Commissioner of Police in the state Kenneth Ebrisom who told Daily Watch that serious investigation is ongoing with the intent of getting the people involved arrested for the heinous crime against the people of the state.
