Governor Rochas Okorocha has felicitated with Muslims in the Country and in Imo in particular over the 2018 Eid – El – Kabir Celebration, calling for prayers for the Unity and Progress of the nation.
The governor also called on Muslims to also pray for the nation’s leaders and for genuine love among Nigerians irrespective of their religion and where they come from and noted that with sincere prayers, the nation would be stronger in all spheres and more United.
The governor noted that Nigeria has the capacity to achieve greatness and Prosperity with Unity of Purpose.
The governor said, time has come for Nigerians to avoid hate speeches, shun greed and Condemn sectionalism and opt for nationalism, tolerance and understanding among Nigerians.
Governor Okorocha wishes President Mohammadu Buhari and all the Muslims in the country a remarkable and hitch-free Eid-El-Kabir.
He assured the Muslims in the state that Imo people and the government he heads would continue to treat them as their brothers and Sisters
