- Assures esteemed readers to establish Gbaramatu TV soon
WARRI- Chief executive officer (CEO)/Publisher of Gbaramatu voice newspaper, Mr. Jacob Abai has unveiled the official launching of Mobile application for adroid phones of its newspaper online version in grand ceremony held in Warri today (Monday) at Okuemi Hotel, former Mimi Suite, Warri, Delta state.
The publisher of the newspaper Mr. Abai said the newspaper is a research centre of the activities of the oil majors, the government and the rural dwellers.
He said the paper has taken the pain to report the Niger Delta region in a better angle as it has not been done before.
He revealed that with the formal launching of Gbaramatu moble application for androit phones, it will be easily accessed by its numerous readers at far and near its online version.
Abai expresses optimism that plans are on top gear to establish Gbaramtu television for broadcasting to meet the demands of their esteemed readers and viewers on Niger Delta news, events, politics and other social issues.
His words ‘‘We dabbling into full-time electronic broadcasting with the establishment of the GbaramatuVoice Television, the organization has since discovered that it is a project that they cannot shoulder alone as it is highly capital intensive’’
He made a passionate appeal to well-meaning Niger Deltans and Nigerians at large for collaboration, financial support and professional engagement to fulfill this lofty dream.
‘‘We specifically call on the state government for an enhanced support via corporate/institutional advertisements, announcement placement as well as outright collaboration in the areas of peace promotion and general information dissemination. Same call and passionate appeal we humbly extend to all captains of industries present’’
