The atmosphere of joy, peace and unity was felt among soccer lovers at the warri city staduim of Delta state as Chairman of Iwere Fc, Emma Nunu and friends narrowly lost to Desmond Agamo aka Ibori and friends 3-4 on Sunday.
Spectators and their family were trilled by skills and act of the retired but not tired legs of some professional footballers in the birthday match ahead of the resumption of the Nigeria National League with the hope to see Warri wolves bounce back to the professional league.
Azamo Ibori opening brace was enough to ensure his side defeated his birthday mate Emma Nunu who also had a goal in the 4-3 score line.
The celebrators expressed joy and thanked God for the unity,peaceful and protection of life in 2021 and also successful start of the 2022.
They admonished that sports is a key factor to foster peace and oneness among all.
They as well call for the support of Warri wolves Fc and other Delta clubs to gain promotion to the elite league.
