Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets  and Angola starlets have been the first countries to Qualified to the  quarter finals of the ongoing 2019 FIFA  Under 17 world cup. in Brazil.

The six time world championships Golden Eaglet again came back from a 1-2 goal down to stun Ecuador 3-2 in their second group match .

 

Ibrahim Said’s hattrick was enough for Nigeria to pick the Round of 16 ticket having won their first match against Hungary 3-2. Said scored in the 5th ,85th and 89th minutes to cancel out Ecuador’s 57th minute lead having canceled out Nigeria early goal through Daniel Jinadu’s own goal in the 10th minute.

 

 

Nigeria now top group B table with 6 points from two matches while Ecuador maintain its second position with three points. Hungry and Australia who are yet to play their second match are on zero points.

 

Nigeria will face Australia who lost to Ecuador in their last group stagenext last match .

 

While Angola Zini 31st minutes and David 90th minutes strike was enough to defeat hard right Canada 2-1.

 

Angola will now face host Brazil who trashed Canada 4-1 in their opening game to determine who finally top the group A after Brazil game against the New Zealand who lost to Angola 2-1 in their opener this Wednesday October 30th.
