The Federal Government has been commended for their tremendous effort to provide peace in the country despite the uphill task without relenting still tackle insurgency being a monster to her citizens and the nation at large.
The Nigerian Representative, may peace prevail on earth Int’l/Member IDP Committee at the United Nations, Mr. Mojima Etokudo, PAD who spoke with Journalists shortly after the 2019 United Nation International Day of Peace in Uyo.
With the theme: Climate Action for Peace
Mr. Mojima said the federal government still acknowledge their responsibilities to restore peace across the nation, understanding the fact that some of our brothers and sisters in some part of Northern Nigeria have be rendered homeless; they are starving, and have become refugees in their own land because of insecurity and armed banditry. As they provide them relief material.
“The government on this fact don’t joke over issue of insecurity and especially armed banditry that while sacrifice everything hummable to restore peace in the country for her citizens not to experience the crisis violent etc.
The occasion chairman, Hon. Prince Nsikan-Abasi UmoEkpo commended the federal government effort to provide peace across the country and believe the citizens need peace as they campaign against war, crisis, boko haram activities for peace to continue to maintain across the country.
He also commended Mr. Mojima for his tremendous humanitarian service to make sure the less privilege have food on their table not to engage in crisis, crime and cultism without relenting to make sure peace continue to generate across the country.
An educationist, Mr. Okon Akpan said the 2019 united nation international day of peace would assist us to continue understand areas we lack as people especially the issue of peace to be restored in our state and the nation at large.
