IMO- The Crisis rocking the APC in Imo state seem to be moving from between Okorocha and his Deputy Eze Madumere to include another APC stalwart in the state Chief Ifeanyi Ararume.
Daily Watch investigations in the state confirmed that Airdrome’s problem with the Governor stems from his decision to announce his interest in the state governorship primaries which emperor Okorocha has openly told everyone is reserved for his son in law and Chef of Staff to the Imo state Government.
Governor Okorocha who was said to have been highly angered by Chief Ararume’s interest in the Governor Primaries described him as a confused man and one that has no single electoral Value having contested and lost the Governorship pursuit severally in several Political parties in the State and as such of no value politically to APC
In his words “Ararume you all know cannot win Imo Governorship election even in a dream as he is a serial loser having contested this same Governorship seat serially and through almost all the Political Parties without success, what electoral value or magic would he now bring in to the fray? I have said it again and again, my Son in law and the Chief of Staff is the APC governorship candidate in Imo state and my Deputy and I would respectively move to the Senate as that is the final”.
Already, tension again is said to be brewing in the state APC as several top APC leaders who are against Okorocha emporor and money dividing antics for support of his Son In law and in allocating positions in the state to whosoever he desires are said to be upbeat and preparing for war politically with the Executive Governor who seem to be exuding uncommon confidence in his political game ploy as he is said to have bought everyone with Imo State resources into his son in law Governorship aspiration as all members of the House are said to be richer by over 20 million naira richer, traditional rulers in the state 20 million naira richer and key APC leaders several million naira richer that not even a whimper is coming from anyone.
Attempts to speak with Ararume or the Governor team or even the Deputy Governor over claims that he is now heading for the senate as against the Governorship seat that created fight weeks ago was not possible as repeated calls to his Media man was not answered.
