Don’t Politicize HOSTCOM, Idibra tells Isoko people

The chairman of HOSTCOM for Isoko ethnic nationality, Comr. Morrister Idibra has called on Isoko people never to politicize HOSTCOM to enable the ethnic group enjoy benefits accrue to them as Oil producing ethnic group in Niger Delta.

Comr. Idibra stated this while giving his acceptance speech after his re-election as chairman of HOSTCOM Isoko ethnic group in Ozoro, the headquarter of Isoko North local government council, noting that, “As the mantle of the state leadership of HOSTCOM will be handed over to us the Isoko people, we should endeavour not to politicize it.

“If we politicize it, then we will be marginalizing by the state and Federal government. I urged you all to stand firmly by me and let’s fight together to achieve the benefits accrue to Isoko nation as Oil producing ethnic group in Niger Delta and Nigeria.” Comr Idibra said.

He added, “I will continue from where I stopped in my previous administration, to ensure that Isoko is not left behind in the struggle for the release of the dividends accrue to us in HOSTCOM as Oil producing ethnic group”.

Others elected alongside Comr. Idibra are; Peter Agbaragu- Vice Chairman, Sir Ezekiel Erisime- Secretary, John Obaro- Assistant Secretary, Akporehe Solomon- Financial Secretary, Victor Eza- Treasurer, Janet Edoso – Women leader, Oghogho Charity- Assistant Women leader, Barr Godffery Esheho- Legal adviser, Queen Akibe – Provost, Henshel Olusaga- Communities Affairs Coordinator, Abarosa Richard- PRO 1, Omuye Charles- PRO 2, Eboh Edna- Organizing Secretary, French Aziakpono – Assistant Organizing Secretary.

Also elected are the various executives for Isoko North and South local government that will pilot the affairs of HOSTCOM at grassroots level.

The state Chairman of HOSTCOM, Dr. P.K Egedegbe, Hon Isaac Omomedia, Special Assistant to the governor Ifeanyi Okowa on special duties who represented the state governor, and Ehwe Edward, who witness the election, commended the delegates from the various Isoko communities that made up the body for their peaceful conduct all throughout the election.
