‘’Do you call it a coincidence or a mistake for over five notable Fulani leaders and academia to make very related statements about the supremacy of the Fulanis and their ownership of Benue, Adamawa and part of Plateau states almost at a period when over 100 souls had been butchered in Tiv land instead of condemning the killings by their kiths and kins? Cant the Tivs see that the herdsmen so called issue is far more than meets the eyes, cant they see that the Killings, attack and styles are the same in nature and execution with that in South Kaduna, Adamawa, Taraba etc? cant they read the lips and words of Fulani elders and commentators like Ango Abdullahi, Ahmed Bello, Prof Umar Lahdo etc ?’’
It is with this swift, acidic but direct quote that the outspoken, critic, militant and erudite commentator General Maxwell Udoh of the New Bakkasi Strike Force (NBSF) react to the cry of Governor Ortom and Tiv Youths days ago over the influx of over 1million cattle and several hundreds of herdsmen back into Benue State in less than one Week of the launch of Operation Cat Race by the Nigerian Military in spite of a subsisting Anti Grazing Law.
According to General Udoh, Nigerians and the Tivs should understand that the Military Presence in Tiv land is not necessary for the Protection of the Tivs but simply as a result of the uproar, condemnation and cry all over the Country and the world over the President silence and in action rather than the will to arrest or checkmate the killings, the butchery and jihadist agenda and atrocities of the Fulani herdsmen.
In the words of Udoh,’’ The Presence of thr Military is merely to create a false hope of Presidential response as a result of the outcry and condemnations not necessary for the Protection of the Benue people but for the fulfillment of righteousness, or how do you explain the killer herdsmen disappearance hours before the launch of the so called Operation Cat Race and the return of Millions of same herdsmen who had left before with cattle under the Military supervision or how many real killer herdsmen have they arrested despite the Governor claims of knowing their killers?.There is none because it is the same herdsmen that have dropped their weapons temporary and back with their cattle even before the eyes of the Nigerian military. The Tivs should learn from Plateau and Kaduna where even in presence of the Military the herdsmen still kill and with stories of Military connivance with the same herdsmen. Have we asked ourselves and the same Military where these herdsmen coming back gets through to the State with the anti grazing laws in place and the Military in Watch? Can’t reasonable Nigerians see a conspiracy in this influx? that the Military is simply on ground to aid the return to grazing of the herdsmen sent packing over the state anti grazing laws and that’s simply what is ongoing’’
General Udoh Counsel the Tivs to read the statements of all five Fulanis between the start of the killings and the burial of the first 73 corpses and understand that there is an agenda in place to take ovr Kaduna South,Taraba, Benue, Adamawa and several other Middle belt land inhabited by non Fulanis.
In General Udoh’s words “’let the Tivs and Nigerians read the statement of Fulani Elders, leaders and Academia that has commented on the killings and understand that cry and shouting can not be the solution as the Fulanis want their land and a Fulani Emir in place, in Professor Umar Lahdo of the Maintama Sule University Kano sermon, he described the whole Benue Land as conquered Territory of the Fulanis. While Alhaji Ahmed Bello the National Chairman of Fulbe Development Association boastfully told the Nation and world that the Fulanis has never been defeated in any war or fight. A Deputy Governor of Adamawa state likened the Fulani herdsmen arms carrying to Policemen guarding bullion Van, Northern Elder Ango Abdullahi Defended the Fulanis and claimed that there are forced to kill because just as Igbos move to the North to trade same way the Fulanis move to other areas for grazing and must kill when stopped. Nigerian Inspector General described the killings by herdsmen as mere communal Clash, while DG DSS in his own supportive statement told Nigerians that the herdsmen are men of ISIS and the Defense Minister also a Fulani claimed the Fulanis must kill because their grazing routes are blocked and the anti Grazing Laws was against their business, the Nigerian President Buhari also a Fulani said in the heat of the killings that he is still considering what to do considering historical factors which again relates to Professor Umar Lahdo theories”.
General Udoh describe most Nigerians as Fools for not been able to see and read the game plans of the Fulanis, he described even the anti corruption War as Fulani friendly as all Fulani thieves and looters are always let off the hook in funny ways while Igbos ,Yoruba and South South are basically those facing trials.
According to him ‘’how come men like Garba Saleh a known 2 Billion naira thief on trial have his case dropped and rewarded with Registrar of NJC?. What about Yusuf Usman a confirmed suspended thief reinstated into the NHSIF by a Fulani president. Another in NNPC called Baru in Barugate still seats in NNPC, take the Maina episode and all those involved and still in power. What about all those involved in Ikoyi loots apart from the DG NIA? the DG Dss and his several loots? Are these men above the corruption laws of Nigeria? Today Mantu, Patience Jonathan and others cases are running in geometrical progression but Dasuki who gave the bribe case is stalled? have you asked yourself why the big masquerade in the loot, a Fulani and the great mastermind of the whole loot is having an almost dead case but people he gave to have almost completed their trial. Don’t be shocked that at the end people like Mantu etc would be jailed but Dasuki would be freed because he is a Fulani’’
