Olorogun Taleb Tebite, Executive Director Project, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission DESOPADEC said, the present team of the management Staff of the Commission are result-oriented individuals poised to deliver the more agenda to all Deltans.

Tabite gave the assurances yesterday in his office at Warri, when he played host to members of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ughelli Correspondents’ Chapel, Ughelli, Delta State.

ED Project maintained that whatever monies that is allocated to the interventionist agency would be prudently used to actualized the mandate of the Commission.

“We do not work in isolation with the government. We work in conformity with the MORE AGENDA of our amiable governor to change the narratives of the state.

“I can assure you that DESOPADEC won’t fail the people. We do things to make the people out there to know that in Sheriff, we trust, and on God we build our hope.

Tebite, thanked the immediate past Governor of the State, Ifeanyi Okowa and his successor Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for finding him worthy to serve the people of the State in this capacity and Gave God Almighty praises for the favour.

He also thanked the members of the NUJ, Ughelli Correspond chapel for their visit noted that the commission needed the collaboration of Newsmen from NUJ to disseminate the activities and programmes of DESOPADEC.

Earlier, the Chairman of Ughelli Correspondents’ Chapel, Comr. Sunday Apah, in his speech, thanked Tabite for his warm reception and congratulated him for his appointment as the ED Project in DESOPADEC.

He said, “It is a great privilege for us to be in the presence a person who plays a pivotal role in the development and progress of our great nation.

“Your wealth of experience, dedication, and commitment to service have undoubtedly earned you this prestigious position. We have faith that under your capable leadership, DESOPADEC will continue to make significant strides towards the socio-economic advancement of our beloved state and country.

“As journalists, it is our duty to inform, educate, and advocate for the well-being of the Nigerian people. We believe that our work is closely aligned with the mission of DESOPADEC in uplifting the lives of the people in the oil bearing and impacted communities through the execution of sustainable development projects.

“We are committed to providing accurate and unbiased reporting on the progress and impact of these projects, thereby promoting transparency and accountability.

“Furthermore, we acknowledge the vital role that DESOPADEC plays in fostering peace, unity, and equitable development in the oil and gas producing communities.

As watchdogs, we are committed to highlighting the positive impact of your projects on the lives of the people, as well as shedding light on any challenges or areas that require improvement.
