The World / National Martial Arts Festival Sole African Promoter , Prince Godstime Omadevuae / Delta State Coordinator, Comrade Godwin Ighoyovwi and Media Partner , Sunny George Ariegwe have hailed the appointment of Mr. Onoriode Oborevwori as the Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission by the Delta State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
The trio in a Statement issued recently which was made available to Sports writers, described the appointment of Oborevwori as a right step in the right direction , judging by his antecedent as being involved actively in grassroots Sports particularly football.
The trio expressed the confidence that having Mr. Oborevwori in charge of the Delta State Sports Commission, a lot of hidden talents in the State will be discover and harnessed.
The trio while commending the Delta State governor for making the right choice , advise other members of the Sports Commission to work together with Mr. Oborevwori in order to achieve the needed result.
The trio in the Statement noted that this is the first time, the Sports Commission is having core Sports men to manage it’s affairs , stressing that for that reason, all hands must be on deck to give them the necessary support to enable them succeed.
The Statement equally commended the inclusion of Ex – International and former Super Eagles player, Sam Sodje in the Sports Commission,.
The Statement stated that with this formidable team making the Sports Commission team, the future is bright for Delta State Sports.
