WARRI- The All Progressives Congress,APC in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State has declared that it is ready to go to the polls for the forthcoming Local Government Election.
Comrade Ighotegwolor Bezi, the APC Councillorship Candidate Ward 20 (Izagbo)Aladja, declared while fielding questions with journalists. His words “We will ensure our votes are counted and protected” despite the alleged imposition of candidates on the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP by the Delta State Governor,Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
“We will go out and vote and at the same time stay at polling units until the votes are counted and recorded. And the results must be announced at the units and collation centre.
Bezi also stated that there is no imposition of candidates in the APC because the party respects the choice of the people unlike the PDP which he also described as a violent and tricky party expressed the belief that the people are behind him.
“I am the people’s choice. I don’t have money but I have the voters behind me” saying whoever the PDP may field against him will have the masses to contend with.”
